Veldig god mat og betjening. Smakte på alt vi bestilte (pizza, hjortstek, gryte og svinesjaker) og alt smakte veldig godt, men betjeningen gjorde rett i å anbefale svinesjaker. Pizzaen og svinesjakene bør absolutt prøves da disse var spesielt gode! Prisene er rettferdige.
Lokalet er veldig koselig og betjeningen utrolig hyggelig.
Lukter søppel rett på utsiden døra og gulvstein er løse og noe er tydelig slitt, men alt det positive veier såpass opp for dette at det likevel får full score.

This restaurant was the highlight of our visit to Scandinavia! Incredibly friendly people; Awesome beer...loved the Black IPA that they brew on site. The moose burger was excellent!Chatted about everything Norwegian and the wonderful part was their Viking replica ship that went to Lans Aux Meadows (on the northerly tip of Newfoundland in Canada). Lovely atmosphere and such good hosts. We'll never forget this visit!

We walked into this out-of-the-way brewpub at 5 pm on a Friday, met Viggo, and knew we had found the exactly perfect place to drink good craft beer and eat delicious local food. Viggo welcomed us, and talked to us about the history of the place and the focus of the business which included beer, local food and music. His enthusiasm was infectious- we loved the conversation and learning more about the area. He shared a brochure with us that included information on other regional food suppliers and businesses in the area, since this was an interest of ours.

We were 3 for 3 on the home brews- a Black IPA, a lager and a wheat beer. We loved the first two, and although none of us really like wheat beer, that was good too.

The food was exceptional. We shared three dishes. The pork cheeks were so tender and the sauce was amazing. We also had a bratwurst with an wonderful sauce over delicious mashed potatoes. Viggo brought out a little container of chanterelles (that he had picked) that were used in a sauce. We started with a meat and cheese plate that included some amazing local aged ham, moose and deer sausages and an award winning local mild white cheese.

This was such a wonderful experience. The historic ( and chill) setting, the local food and drink, and the warm hospitality were exceptional.

Fab micro brewery. We really enjoyed the amber ale and the wheat beer. Reasonably priced beer and food and lovely staff. Plan your trip to be in Lillehammer on the days it is open !

Probably THE best dinners we had during our 2 weeks visit in Norway. The kind attitude and warm service (very much unlike Norwegians...), the great beer, the food and atmosphere made our visit here an unforgettable experience. Look for Frank, you’ll never regret it!

Very nice!
We enjoyed discovering traditional food from Norway: the chief’s deer/moose stew was really good! Also the typical environnement is bringing you to the Norway from old times with the lovely historical explanations of our waiter.
It could have been a perfect if we didn’t got kick out by the waiter/chief who wanted to finish his service.

Unbelievably good!
The beer is the best I drank so far in Norway and the food (we had Deer Steak and Pork Cheeks) was overwhelming. You need to try at least a dish with the beer sauce. Too good to be true!
