Superbe nuit dans ce rorbu au bord de l’eau. Petite vue fort sympathique sur les bateaux et pontons, accueil avec sourire et attention. Nous avions une chambre avec kitchenette très pratique. Le sauna est le petit plus bien sympathique (18h-21h ; included)

What an amazing place. We stayed for five nights and enjoyed the hotel a lot in a deluxe design suite with view. The view was amazing and I will never forget it. The staff at the hotel are all very friendly and helpful. Our room had a large bathroom with double shower. The bed was nice, but I wish it was a bit firmer and that they had feather pillows. The room had comfortable furniture and a little area with plates, fridge, glasses, cutting board, etc. the room and dishes are nice cleaned every day. There is a nespresso machine. TV has limited channels. Wish they had BBC. It did offer Netflix. The breakfast is very good. Nice buffet. The restaurant is very nice, but expensive. Beautiful glassware. There are a number of very good, but expensive restaurants in the neighborhood. This was the best hotel experience in Norway on our 10-day journey thus far.

We stayed in their Villa for 6 pax as it provided a full kitchen following the explanation on their website. Unfortunately the kitchen is poorly equipped, a lack of kitchen utensils which makes cooking a challenge, luckily we were only three persons but still had to adjust our meals to availability of utensils. Which should absolutely not be the case if you pay more than 6000 NOK a night. Be aware that you do have a partial view on parking lot which is not so nice at all. Also staff is parking with their camper in front of your terrace so view is limited to the inside of their camper. Definitely what we did not signed up for.|We had to pay 1200 NOK for cleaning our villa at check out but received a not cleaned villa at check in. Kitchen was all sticky, the little amount of utensils present were not clean. At check in we were assisted by Sandro, friendly and helpful.

We have a lovely villa with average views . The villa is clean and the kitchen is good but lacks a microwave . They also never helped to get our luggage settled upstairs as we are both senior citizens and the villa doesn’t have a bedroom downstairs Otherwise , a very average experience. The downstairs bathroom gets flooded and no one came to rectify it . It’s also near a factory at the back . So the location is not very good and doesn’t feel as if you are in the Lofoten islands . Inspite of asking them twice for getting the place cleaned up , no one bothered . They also do not have a washer and a dryer. Two of the utensils are so dirty , they need to be replaced

El pueblo no tiene gran cosa pero este hotel y en la habitación que estuvimos con vistas al puerto es una maravilla. Además el diseño de la habitación muy cuidado. Las tumbonas de madera al salir de la cabaña eran un lujo para descansar y tomar el sol. La chica que nos atendió, checa, que si no me equivoco se llamaba Lenka, fue super amable y simpática tanto al recibirnos como en el restaurante.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Wir hatten ein Appartment mit sehr viel Platz im ersten Stock mit Blick aus den Hafen.
Das Frühstück ist zu empfehlen, sogar mit Croissants, nur das Rührei wir nicht individuell gemacht.

Out of all the places we stayed in Lofoten, Solsiden Brygge Hotel was by far the most disappointing. The amenities were well below standard. The sauna, which we were looking forward to after a long day, took over an hour to warm up—and even then, it never got hot. The hot tub, oddly, is only available between 6–9 PM, which felt unnecessarily restrictive.

We decided to dine at the hotel’s restaurant because of the glowing reviews. Unfortunately, the experience was just as poor. The waiter forgot our bread and recommended the steak for my partner—which turned out to be incredibly tough and hard to eat. I ordered the halibut, but instead, I was served whale (a dark meat). My partner and I immediately looked at each other like, “This is not halibut.” When we pointed it out, the waiter seemed confused and didn’t offer any kind of solution. They should have comped the meal, but instead, we were charged for someone else’s mistake.

Breakfast was the final disappointment. Of all the places we stayed, this hotel had the most limited and underwhelming breakfast options.

If you’re considering staying here—save your money and go somewhere else. There are far better accommodations in Lofoten that offer much more for your money and time.

Ce rorbu est petit, prévu pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants (en mezzanine avec accès par une échelle raide), avec une belle vue sur le petit port depuis le salon, mais la chambre, sans chauffage, est une cabine de bateau sans table de nuit, lit double placé contre la fenêtre donc on doit enjamber son compagnon pour la place du fond. La salle de bain est exiguë et l’eau de la douche se répand vers le lavabo. Il y a une kitchenette mais pas de table sauf dehors. On a donc dîné sur la petite table basse. Il y avait de la vaisselle pour 2. Il y a donc des choses à revoir.
