Had an amazing trip with Runhild and a lovely group of fellow kayakers yesterday. I was a bit apprehensive given the winter skies and snow but as Runhild says in Lofoten if you don’t like the weather wait 5 mins - we did and set off in blue skies (with some snow along the way)! Great safety talk at the start to meet everyone, find out capabilities and run through all the gear. Then down to Reine Harbour for a tour round the harbour and to the mouth of the Fjord. Absolutely stunning views that you just can’t get on land, beautiful water that is so clear you can see 6m down and the fresh air-it’s invigorating! Runhild kept constant watch and managed all the different experience levels to give everyone a lovely tour. She even gave me some helpful pointers to improve my paddling. I especially enjoyed the seaweed snacks along the way too! Definitely the highlight of my trip so far and I’ll definitely be back and hopefully stay at the hotel where the paddling is based too. Thanks Runhild and fellow paddlers!

We enjoyed our paddling experience! Our guide was wonderful. She was very helpful, funny, and gave a very thorough safety demonstration. We got to paddle out to see panoramic views of the fjords and even next to them. The water was choppy and a bit windy that day, but she made everyone feel at ease. Lots of great local info and scenery along the way. The price was a bit high, but well worth it for the experience. Would recommend booking with Reine!

10/10 recommend! Loved it so much I booked another tour. Really nice kayaking equipment in excellent condition and a beautiful location to kayak from. Guides were excellent and took lots of photos of everyone on the water which was really appreciated. Very warm and friendly team, can't recommend them enough!

Such an amazing experience and Runhild was the best guide! At the begging we got some safety instructions so if you are not an experienced kayaker don’t worry! After that you will know everything!
The weather was amazing, we went around the islands, saw Sakrisoy and Reine from the water, took some amazing pictures, watched
birds and just contemplate Lofoten Arctic Nature! 100% recommended!

Very peaceful paddling. I didn’t know we should actually paddle to the open sea and look at the rocks around sunset. In the evening we went passed the fish villages and got to see some see eagles. It was a very good experience and the paddling team was very helpful in getting everyone prepared.

I am writing to say thanks to instructor Will. He took the time to explain the safety on the water and paddling tips. Most importantly he really took the time to make sure we are really comfortable and sitting well in the kayaks. This made the whole experience so much better.

We had an outstanding experience with our guide, Roman.
We emailed to inquire the day before and received prompt responses confirming that the 8:30 "midnight sun" tour was looking good for the next day and to just show up 10 minutes beforehand in warm gear.
We did, and as it turned out, my wife and I were the only takers for that fine night, so we effectively had a personalised tour! (2 is the minimum) Brilliant!

Roman got us all setup in our gear, took us through the safety and paddling technique briefings, finishing with a geological overview of the surrounding area and our proposed route, before we took to the water.

The weather turned out to be perfect for our outing and we got some great photos and memories. Roman also kindly took my camera to snap lots of photos of us backdropped by the gorgeous "sunset" and fjords, so we didn't just have to rely on selfies. We're so happy with the pictures he took, too.

Throughout the paddle Roman gave us a history of the area, the local people, Norway in general; basically everything we could think to ask about as tourists, he had a good answer for. And when we just wanted to sit and soak in the atmosphere he patiently enjoyed it with us, completely unhurried.

To finish, he played us a lovely song on his phone by a well-known Norwegian artist, as we baked in the reddy/golden glow of the never-setting sun. It was so beautiful.

I can't speak highly enough of this tour. It was well worth the 1900 Nkk for two.

Thanks Roman!
