This restaurant markets itself as high-end cuisine, but the reality falls flat. The dishes are unremarkable and lack sophistication. I ordered the duck with mashed potatoes – it was decent but nothing extraordinary, just a standard, forgettable meal.

For the prices they charge, you'd expect something exceptional, but what you get is merely adequate. The service was fine, but that doesn't compensate for the uninspired food. If you're looking for true fine dining, this isn’t the place.

Excellent example of Norwegian cuisine. The cod and salmon were both delicious. Cooked perfectly with sauces that complemented the delicate fish flavor, tasty!

Found this place by accident. Interesting old restaurant motif. Servers were every nice. We had the whale carpaccio and a plate of the grilled scallops for appetizers. Whale was really good, but scallops were slightly overcooked. We tried 5 of their entrees (2 were the special of the evening: Grilled Salmon and the wild meat stew), along with the reindeer, pork and the beef. Reindeer steak was excellent. I would get that if that was my options. Second best is the grilled Salmon. Flavorful and nicely grilled. 3rd best would be beef, very tasty and perfectly cooked for Medium rare. Pork was a bit over cooked, so not as juicy as could be. Meat stew is a huge portion and I would have preferred boiled potatoes with it to mashed potatoes. I am use to 1/3 of the portions of the stew on a plate with a few boiled potatoes and broccoli to offset the sauce amount, but the dish was tasty too (sauce was slightly too much salt for me. Beefy brown sauce), just not to my expectations. I would go again, but get the reindeer steak.

Nice atmosphere and good, if not spectacular, food. I ordered the scallops starter (plural on the menu) and was shocked when it turned out to be a single scallop on a plate. Considering the high price, I expected more.
